Shout-outs

July 12, 2007

As we get closer and closer to leaving for vacation my blogging time dwindles, so I thought I’d slip in a quick post tonight while I have a few minutes. Of course, my wireless network is being cantankerous right now, but I’ve managed to jerry-rig something workable for the moment.

So, first things first–today I feel like a “real” blogger, now that a few readers that have no prior connection to me have stopped by and left comments. Special shouts out to MN, Princess Peach (congrats on your news!) and the esteemed Mel, whose Choose-Your-Own-Blog-Adventure post brought me out of lurkdom. Thanks for reading my ramblings–I hope you’ll keep stopping by. Of course, this is just as true for those of you all reading who DO happen already to know me! I really appreciate all of your feedback, comments, and support.

Okay, running out of the door. Upcoming post: black infertility and silence, or, “Why I Can’t Talk to the One or Two Other Black Women I Do Know with Fertility Issues for Fear of Saying the Wrong Thing.”
